This is my 8ft wingspan autonomous MQ1 Predator drone.

8AH battery can provide ~40 mins of efficient flight time.
Uses ardupilot software.
Capability to create missions in google earth based mission planner.
Autonomous take off and landing Autonomous fly to location, and drop payload
Long range video downlink with OSD displaying gps location, heading, direction to home, alt, speed, battery levels, and a few other details.
Assisted flight modes, circle modes, return to home if signal is interrupted.
Time to build: a couple weekends
Cost to build: ~$1000
Value of parts: $2000
